Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of ankitglobal.in and general enquiries made to Ankit Global Express & Relocation (“we”, “us” or “our”). A confirmed quotation, consignment note, invoice or service agreement may contain additional terms. If there is a conflict, the specific written service document will apply to that booking.

1. Website use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. Website content is provided for general information and may be changed without notice. You must not attempt to disrupt the website, gain unauthorised access or submit false, harmful or unlawful material.

2. Enquiries and quotations

An online or telephone enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Quotations are based on the information provided by the customer and may change after a physical or virtual survey, inventory change, access difficulty, route change, additional service request, government charge or other material difference.

3. Booking and payment

A service is confirmed only after we communicate acceptance and any required advance payment is received. Payment schedules, accepted methods, taxes, cancellation charges and balance due dates will be stated in the applicable quotation or invoice.

4. Customer responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate contact, address, inventory and access information; obtain permissions where required; separate documents, jewellery, cash and essential personal items; and disclose fragile, high-value, hazardous or specially regulated goods before booking.

5. Prohibited and restricted goods

We do not knowingly transport or store illegal goods, explosives, weapons, dangerous chemicals, highly combustible materials, perishables, live animals or items prohibited by applicable law. Certain goods may require prior declaration, special packing, permits or may be refused.

6. Packing, pickup and delivery

Service dates and transit estimates are given in good faith but may be affected by traffic, weather, vehicle issues, route restrictions, strikes, natural events, customs, government action or circumstances beyond reasonable control. The customer or an authorised representative should be present for pickup and delivery unless agreed otherwise.

7. Loss, damage and claims

The customer should inspect goods at delivery and promptly record visible shortage or damage on the delivery document. Any claim must be submitted within the period and with the documents stated in the applicable service agreement or consignment terms. Liability, exclusions and valuation will be governed by the confirmed booking documents and applicable law.

8. Insurance

Transit insurance is not automatically included unless expressly stated. Where insurance assistance is offered, coverage remains subject to the insurer’s terms, exclusions, documentation, survey and claim decision.

9. Warehousing

Storage is subject to availability, permitted-goods rules and agreed charges. Additional charges may apply when the storage period is extended, goods require special handling or collection is delayed. Unpaid or uncollected goods will be handled only in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.

10. Third-party services

We may coordinate with transporters, agents, freight carriers, warehouses and other partners. Some services may also be subject to the third party’s terms and applicable carrier or regulatory conditions.

11. Intellectual property

The website design, text, graphics, brand elements and other original content belong to Ankit Global Express & Relocation or their respective owners. They may not be reproduced or commercially used without prior written permission.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law and any written service agreement, courts having jurisdiction in Kolkata, West Bengal will have jurisdiction over disputes.
